Halloween was celebrated across all 26 of the Appt Corp McDonald’s in grand style over the weekend. Money was raised for the McDonald’s “Make a Difference’ Day to go towards the Ronald McDonald’s House Charity, which provides a home environment for families while their child is in hospital.
There are four Houses in London and one of which will soon be moving to a new site and doubling the number of families who can stay there.
At the company’s Hanwell Store on the Uxbridge Road all the crew and many customers got involved in the efforts. The day raised a total of £85 with “Guess and Win Candy” contributing £70 and the rest coming from face painting. A large prize of candy was given to the winner of the “Guess And Win” raffle.
The McDonald’s team in Hanwell sold all the all toys they were tasked with finding homes for and are now aiming to raise more money by selling all the Ronald McDonald’s House Charity key rings.
