The Atul Pathak Community Awards provide annual one-off donations of between £500 to £3,000 and a year-long corporate partnership to registered charities and community groups. The Atul Pathak Community Awards are designed to support smaller charities in local communities where our restaurants operate.
What are the Atul Pathak Community Awards?
The 2019 Atul Pathak Community Awards were the 6th annual awards scheme designed not only to support community groups but also to highlight and celebrate the work that community groups do in their local areas.
As with previous years we have decided that we want to go even further in support of the good work that community groups do and focus the work in local communities by forming year-long partnerships with community groups, offering not just much needed financial support but also capacity support throughout the year.
Following on from our first awards in 2014, each year Appt Corporation hosts an awards and drinks reception in a London landmark venue. The winners receive a financial contribution to their organisation and a ‘Community Contract’ signed by the Managing Director of Appt Corporation with a pledge that his company will support them for the ensuing year.
The 6th awards ceremony was held in the Houses of Parliament on June 19. A full list of the year’s winners can be found below:
- Wokingham, Bracknell and Districts Mencap
- Colindale Communities Trust
- East Barnet Community Festival
- Boyne Hill Cricket Club
- Move into Wellbeing
- Parents of Ealing Self Help Training Scheme (P.E.S.T.S)
We regret that the 2020 Atul Pathak Community Awards has been cancelled due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus. We will update this page as and when we have more information about the next Awards.
Who can apply?
We believe that operating a business and being socially responsible are inextricably linked. It is our duty to give something back to the community with whom we have built a relationship over the years. With this in mind, the awards will be prioritised to those charities and community groups who work or are based within the local communities of our 43 restaurants based in London and Berkshire.
We will prioritise applications from charities who deliver their operations near to our restaurants within the London Boroughs and Boroughs surrounding London.
We welcome applications for all types of projects for all types of community groups (not for profit) and registered charities with a turnover of less than £200,000 per annum.
